COAT OF ARMS

The current coat of arms was made according to a representation dating from 1560:

Azure with two faces of silver, adorned with a dragon pierced with an arrow, about to devour a child, bearing the words:

"Venabulis Vinco". I vanish by the stake (or the stake)

In Middlewich (England) the legend says: Gilbert de Venables fought and defeated the dragon to save the child.
