Visit by Michaël Sterling, Christine Speer and Ashley Speer

Members of the CCGVenables Host Committee received Mr. Michael Sterling, from San Mateo, California, Ms. Christine Speer from Rochester, New York, and Miss Ashley Speer from Denver, Colorado. They take advantage of a stay in France to stop in the village of their ancestor. Mikael's genealogical research traces their ancestry back to Amibilla de Venables (1180-1263).

They were received by Patrick Lequette President of the CCGVenables and Francis Meyer members of the Association. After showing them part of the village's heritage, at the CCGVenables headquarters, Michael, Christine and Ashley signed the Association's guestbook. Following our interview, a cocktail was served in honor of the visitors.

We were delighted to receive them in Venables and wish them a pleasant stay in France and invite them to join us as often as the opportunity is given to share and perpetuate the common history of the Venables families and the Village.
