CONDENSE HISTORY

The notion of rurality of the village of Venables has its source in the depths of its history with the passage of the first human tribes on its territory. By treading on the future communal soil, they contributed to the establishment of a long process of implantation to lead to the one on which we live today.

 

It is thanks to all the bequests of prehistoric, protohistoric and ancient civilizations, to the various human structures that were set up throughout the High Middle Ages that we can understand the creation of the stronghold of Venables after the year 1000.

An old history which leads to the new history of this territorial unit which today forms the Commune Nouvelle, located on one of the most beautiful meanders of the Seine.
